Un peu d’histoire… La Chicha ou narguilé, Sheesha, narghile… est d’origine persane utilisée dans le monde arabe pour fumer le tabac. Les traces les plus anciennes de narguilé ont été trouvées au sud ou à l'est de l'Afrique. Des bols de narguilé ont ainsi été excavés en 1971 dans la grotte de Lalibela. Leur datation semble indiquer une utilisation datant des années 1320.

Les Tunisiennes adorent les bijoux et le font savoir dans les grandes occasions. Lors des fêtes de mariages, les mariées portent leurs plus belles parures et certains habits traditionnels en sont même ornés. De la khomsa à la Rayhana en passant par le kholkhal et le deblej, chaque région tunisienne a ses propres spécificités en matière de bijoux ce qui témoigne de la diversité culturelle de notre pays. Mais ce que l’on note, c’est que nos bijoux restent simples sans signes ostentatoires même si l’or est omniprésent. Les pierres précieuses telles que les diamants, émeraudes et saphirs laissent la place à l’ambre, le corail, les perles de culture et aux pierres semi-précieuses et on peut très bien s’accommoder d’argent et de cuivre martelé. Et malgré les nouvelles tendances, les bijoux tunisiens font de la résistance et n’ont pas fini d’orner nos cous, poignets, oreilles et chevilles pour notre plus grand bonheur.
